The Prize

Urban Walkies are giving away a month of free dog walking for one lucky pet owner! The competition will run from the 19/8/2018 to 19/9/2018. The prize includes 2 FREE 30min dog walks each week for a full month (maximum of 2 dogs from the same residence).

How do I enter?

Upload your favourite picture of your dog/s to the Urban Walkies Facebook Page, tell us why your dog should WIN and most importantly tag us @urbanwalkiesnz to go into the draw to WIN. Winners will be notified via Facebook on the 20th of September via Facebook.

Who can enter?

Entrant must be over 18 years of age, who lives in the Inner Auckland area (within a 12km radius of the Auckland CBD), and owns a dog (maximum of 2).   

 

Terms and Conditions

1. GENERAL

Information on how to enter and the prize forms part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid. The promoter of the Urban Walkies WIN a months worth of free walks for your dog! (The "Promotion") is Urban Walkies (NZ) Ltd (The "Promoter"). The promotion commences on the 8:00pm NZT, 19 August 2018 and closes 12:00pm NZT, 20 September 2018 (the "Promotion Period). Entry is open to residents of New Zealand that live in the Inner-Auckland region and within a 12km radius from Auckland CBD). Entrants must be over 18 years of age and own a dog (maximum 2 dogs per residence).  The prize is eligible for a maximum of two dogs to be walked from the same residence at one time on a day that suits the owner. The two 30min dog walks are to occur in business hours 8:30am-5pm Monday to Friday of each week. Winner must have a meet and greet with an Urban Walkies team member prior to the commencement of the walks. 

To enter the Promotion: Entrants must complete the following steps during the Promotion Period:

- Visit the Urban Walkies Facebook page at www.facebook.com/urbanwalkiesnz ("Urban Walkies FB Page")

- Upload a photo of their dog with a caption on why their pet should win

- Tag @urbanwalkiesnz FB page in their post 

Entries are deemed to be received at the time of the recipient by the Promoter. Records of the promoter are final and conclusive as to the time of receipt. Entrants may submit multiple entries during the Promotion Period provided that each entry is for a unique pet.

Each entrant warrants that:

- their entry (including any photograph submitted) is their original work;

- they own the copyright for their entry: and

- their entry is based on appropriate authorization and consent; and

- their entry does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party or any applicable laws.

Each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual license to the Promoter to feature in any of the Promoter's publications, websites, and/or in any promotional marketing material without further compensation. All photographs submitted must show respect to the animal's integrity, and situations depicted in the photographs should not cause offence to pet and animal lovers, from a common sense perspective. Entrants agree that ownership of any intellectual property contained or included in their entry is assigned to the Promoter. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image in any media for an unlimited period, without remuneration for the purpose of promoting the Promotion (including any outcome, and promoting any services provided by the Promoter.  The Promoter will review all valid entries and each entry will be judged individually on its merits based on suitability for review through Facebook or pet suitability. Judging will be conducted by representatives of Urban Walkies. The decision of the judging and interpretation of these terms and conditions is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash. This promotion is in no way endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to The Promoter and not to Facebook. The information the entrant provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in these conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints about this Promotion must be directed to the Promoter and not to Facebook. Facebook will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury, which is suffered or sustained by an entrant, as a result of participating in the promotion (including taking/use of prize), except for any liability, which cannot be excluded by law.
